I had a very bad experience with Main Street. Another shop found leaks in the welds near the converters after a smoke test, which appears to have caused the issues I was having. I also had to have the muffler rewelded. On top of that, there was a bolt on the transmission shield that had been installed backward previously, and instead of removing it and correcting it properly, part of it was cut off. The workmanship was poor, and the customer service was rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

Extremely rude people with ZERO common sense or customer service and satisfaction skills. I have been at the shop 2 times and both times the same treatment. RUDE!!! First time was there about 1.5 years ago becase the hanging hinge for the tailpipe broke off and needed to be replaced. When I got there Bobby the owner sees me wating outside of the garage.. He just walkes up to me and says WHAT DO YOU WANT with a rude look and attitude in his voice!?! Thats not how you greet or treat a customer. After I explained the reason for my visit he just gave me a look and said "It will be $40 and its gonna be a while" and walked away. No explanation of how long or anything. I called my dad to pick me up and just left the car there. Later on that afternoon I came back to pick up the car he charged me $60. $20 more then I was quoted with no explanation why what so ever. About a month ago my muffler weld came of, of the same vehicle and once again I tried to give them a chance to earn my business. As I pulled in Bobby was talking to a customer and as I approached them not wanting to be rude and interrupt I waited for them to finish conducting their business. 5 min later as Bobby is walking away

Been going to Bobby, owner, for years. Very reasonable prices and good honest work. However, be aware he only handles certain types of problems.

They do good work at a reasonable price. I've never had a problem with the quality of their work. You can take your own parts if you want. They don't have a receptionists and no fancy building but those things keep the cost down.
